PICPA to educate Filipinos about UAE’s legal systems

ABU DHABI – The Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) Abu Dhabi Chapter will hold a significant talk about the United Arab Emirates’ Legal Systems onAugust 21 at Al Maja Arjaan Hotel here.
“Introduction to the Legal System in UAE” will be the highlight of the talk, which will be held in conjunction with PICPA’s induction program. Philippine Ambassador to the UAE Grace Princesa will administer the oath of office of the newly elected officers for the year 2015-2016.
The lecture will be given by Atty. Barney Almazar, director of the Commercial Department of Gulf Law-Filipino Lawyers in Dubai, and author of the book OFW Guide in the UAE.
His talk will help Filipinos to be aware of the do’s and don’ts while staying in the country. Over 30 delegates, including new members of the organization, are expected to attend.
Aside from accounting professionals, which will be surely empowered with knowledge by the lecture and networking with members of the group, the event is also open to all Filipinos in the emirates.
